From March 24th to April 5th, it was possible to participate in a series of virtual races to support zoo animals. The bears at ZOO Hluboká were chosen for the tenth episode. Since Andy is somewhat of a bear, we had to sign up and support the animals at the zoo during this difficult time. We signed up for the 2km cani-cross race. Unfortunately, Andy didn’t get that although this race is virtual, it is still a timed run, so there’s no room for sniffing and marking every tree and shrub in the forest. Andy came in 134th place.
This race raised CZK 302,670 for ZOO Hluboká and the Zoo will use this money to feed the animals.

Virtual races and challenges are like any other types of running races, so you really have to run them. Only the table of results is virtual. Everything else is real and up to you to manage the individual challenges that you run at your own pace, anywhere outside, regardless of the results.
