We took part in the IULH German Leonberger World Championship on Saturday, September 24th and then we took part in the CLUBSIEGERSCHAU Club Exhibition on Sunday, September 25th, 2022. There was a relatively large turnout with nearly 200 leonbergers from practically all of Europe. We started in the Champion’s category on both days. Andy received a grade and an award of excellent on both days, however, did not place this time, when only the top four dogs were ranked.
4.5 years old, excellent proportions, black-brown dog, with strong legs and very good rear angulation, strong head, with a black, slightly greyish mask, somewhat deeply set eyes, which are permanently medium brown, complete scissor bite, strong neck, good lengths, somewhat soft in the back, excellently shaped chest with a very good front chest, correctly set limbs when standing, free movement with good drive, safe and confident behaviour, well-groomed fur, testicles present.
4 years and 7 months old dog, medium-large, strong, black-brown dog with a medium strong bone structure, typical rugged head with slightly opened lips, black mask with greyish fur, medium-brown fur, medium-brown eyes, correctly closed eyelids, ears set a little low, excellent width and depth of chest, straight back, proper fore and hind limbs when standing, good angulation, sufficiently free in movement, correctly set tail, black-brown fur, well-groomed, poised behaviour.
