Our third and final stop in the Balkans was Tirana, Albania, where the 2021 President’s Cup was held, with four dog shows in two days. Andy’s starting number in the Champion’s category for both days was 71. On the morning of Thursday, December 2nd, Andy first took part in the International dog show and Andy won with an assessment of Exc. 1, CAC, CACIB, BOB. In the afternoon on the same day, Andy took part in the national dog show, also winning that with an assessment of Exc. 1, CAC, BOB. Andy first took part in the national dog show on the morning of Friday, December 3rd, in which Andy completed his hat-trick in Albania and won with an assessment of Exc. 1, CAC, BOB. The international dog show and our last Balkan marathon took place on Friday afternoon. Andy won the Champion’s category with an assessment of Exc. 1, CAC. Unfortunately, this time we hesitated in the Best Dog Breed competition, so we didn’t manage to round off our 10 BOB wins in a row. In the end, we added the Res. CACIB. Regardless, Andy was able to meet the criteria and became the Champion and Grand Champion in Albania. After the show, we drove home. Although I may be exaggerating a bit, but it could be said that Andy managed to conquer the Balkans!!!
With regard to the current COVID-19 situation, there were no written reviews, only the award and possible title was recorded.
